Drawing task

  • Mixed reality: To draw while wearing the headset
  • Texture on objects: Yes, similar to a 3D printed texture
  • Colors: Three or five standard filament colors (balanced across objects)
  • Grabbing: Object can be moved by hand, remains on the position/orientation chosen by the user (similar to real-world)
  • Physics: Objects without gravity but resembling real-life references.
  • Object placement: Inside a glass-cube that forces users to lookup away from the drawing paper
  • Measurements: Lookups (#), time (a way to start/end task), hand/head movements (distinguish on-paper vs. on-reference)

Navigation task

  • View: At floor level, not drone.
  • find a way increase the LOD

Management:

  • Counterbalancing. A way to select which objects will be shown (e.g., config file). There is a UI already inside the left hand.
